Friends Who Become Family

“To family who become friends and to friends who become family.”

Wiley of Wiley’s Wisdom, who breathes  joy with every post, received the WordPress Family Blogging Award and, in keeping with his nature, and the rules, nominated others, of which we are one.   Thank you, Wiley.   Claire, Elby and HuntMode think you are the cat’s meow and the dog’s pajamas.

This award was initiated by Shaun (Praying for one day), who created this special award:

“This is an award for everyone who is part of the “Word Press Family” I start this award on the basis that the WordPress family has taken me in, and showed me love and a caring side only WordPress can. The way people take a second to be nice, to answer a question and not make things a competition amazes me here. I know I have been given many awards, but I wanted to leave my own legacy on here by creating my own award, as many have done before. This represents “Family” we never meet, but are there for us as family. It is my honour to start this award”

Rules:

1. Display the award logo on your blog.

2. Link back to the person who nominated you.

3. Nominate 10 others you see as having an impact on your WordPress experience and family

4. Let your 10 Family members know you have awarded them

5. That is it. Just please pick 10 people who have taken you as a friend, and spread the love

An important note to my WordPress family:  I believe you all will feel pleased to know I thought of you.  Many will have been previously nominated because we find one another from others we read.  For some, this may be their first award and it may well arrive on a day you needed just that sense of encouragement.  Feel free to respond or just accept.  This is to be a joy, not another tasking.

  4. Thank you for thinking of me.

I reallydon’t do these ‘pass on to x number of people’ because it imposes rules on to one. I think you have covered my list anyway.

      • Honestly?
I have no idea why that song.. 🙂
I think if you listen to the lyrics, or read them online as she sings, she is bearing her soul..

Thank you for your kind words…
I just love music, I think I do more music blogs than award blogs..And that is something lol

Try reading the lyrics as you listen.
She tells a story, she bares her soul..
Let me know if you understand “Why that song”
Really no reason, I just kinda did 🙂

        Thanks
        Shaun

        • Shaun, I did – both listen and read the lyrics before commenting above. To me, it is a sad, alienated song. My own bias is I don’t like clowns – they scare me. 🙂 Once again, I am glad to have discovered this performer.

  6. It is a lovely idea, and sincere thanks for the nomination.
My own personal feeling is that such awards would be more meaningful with an invitation to pass on to deserving fellow bloggers or not as seen fit, without the obligation. I know this defeats the object of spreading as far and fast as possible, but still …
I think I’ll drop a copy of this with Shaun for consideration.

  10. Hunt, You are so cool!!! I am glad I have read this long after the fact, and as much as I would have liked to have known you for years, Sometimes months is better. I know all of this makes sense to you, but it will confuse the hell out of someone who comes in after this discourse. LOL I know you chose wisely grasshopper. And I am sure they chose wisely as well. Take care, Bill
