Wish you had a mega-like button. I’m a traditionalist as well but when someone can sing it with so much passion, I gotta hit the mega-like!
Thank you for finding this and sharing it!!!!
Laughter! I was doing Tae Kwon Do punches to the left, to the right and then fast, fast, fast center! Can’t get the darn song out of my head now…. Grin.

Today, the day after the 4th of July, Let’s crank this up and one more time, shout it out like we mean it, let’s do as this group and sing with passion and from the heart!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes. Thank you Huntie for originally posting.
And a lot of people really like it. I was just made very happy by it. Having heard Jimi Hendrix play this at Woodstock gave me a fondness for non-traditional renditions of this. It is an American song and I like that we as Americans, make it our own.
Where have you been, my friend. I’ve been looking high and low for you and yes I’ve been worried. I do hope you’ve been hanging out singing and stuff and that all is well in your world. I’ve missed you. Sheri
I thought of you, Bill – writing your Friday post and telling us what you were listening to as you wrote. I was pretty sure this would be a hit with you! Grin.

This is being provided courtesy of Huntie, it’s a version just as strong and as powerful as Jimi’s Hendrix, with stirring images as well. Enjoy, Thank you, Bill.

Thank you, Sheri. There was some new Rx for thyroid that didn’t agree with me. Hopefully, I am back on a steady basis. So nice to be missed!
